Our Story

Harthom Construction was founded to deliver high quality building work with honesty, transparency and care for every client.

The company began with just one van and two people, Jamie and Lee, working together on domestic projects. Through dedication and strong workmanship the business has grown into a skilled team with multiple company vehicles, delivering everything from extensions and refurbishments to one off new builds and small housing developments.

Although the company has grown, our approach remains the same. We stay hands on, build strong relationships with our clients, and take pride in delivering work to the highest standards.

Our Team

While the company is led by Jamie Thomas and Lee Harris, Harthom Construction is supported by a dedicated team of experienced tradespeople who help deliver our projects to the highest standards.

Jamie Thomas

  • Jamie holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management from the University of Wolverhampton and has spent over 20 years working within the construction industry.

    Much of Jamie’s career has been focused on quantity surveying, estimating, and project management roles within established construction companies in the Wolverhampton area. This experience provides the technical expertise required to accurately assess projects, manage costs, and ensure work is delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

    Within Harthom Construction, Jamie oversees project planning, estimating, and client coordination.

Lee Harris

  • Lee holds an HNC in Construction Management and is a fully qualified, time-served carpenter.

    Before co-founding Harthom Construction, Lee spent many years working as a subcontract carpenter, managing and undertaking his own work while also supporting larger subcontracting firms on a variety of projects.

    Lee brings extensive hands-on construction experience to the company and plays a key role in site management, organisation, and ensuring every project meets the high quality standards expected by both the company and its clients.
